Chapter 6

18Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.9Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

Chapter 7

15But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

Chapter 9

24Know ye not that they which run in a race run all , but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.27But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means , when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Chapter 10

13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Chapter 13

7Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.8Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.13And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.4Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,12For now we see through a glass, darkly ; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.11When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Chapter 14

33For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Chapter 15

33Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

Chapter 16

14Let all your things be done with charity.13Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
